Our physicians offer a wide range of services for the diagnosis and treatment of various urologic conditions, including:
- Benign prostate disease
- Voiding dysfunction and incontinence in men, women and children
- Bladder and prostate abnormalities
- All urologic cancers
- Kidney and bladder stones
Patients diagnosed with these conditions may have multiple treatment options. For instance, our urologists treat benign prostatic hyperplasia using one of three approaches:
- medical management
- traditional surgery
- minimally invasive, office-based procedures
All of our physicians are board certified by the American Board of Urology. They have hospital privileges and operate at North Shore Medical center (Salem and Union campus), Anna Jaques Hospital, Beverly Hospital, Beverly Hospital of Danvers, Addison-Gilbert Hospital and at MGH North Shore in Danvers.
The diagnostic capabilities on site in our Salem office help our physicians further individualize treatment plans. Digital ultrasound helps the urologists measure and evaluate relevant anatomy, like the prostate, kidneys and bladder. Our sophisticated urodynamics equipment helps to precisely test various voiding parameters: flow rate (uroflowmetry), postvoid residual, pressure/volume relationship of the bladder (a cystometrogram, or CMG), leak point pressure, bladder pressure and nerve impulses (electromyography).
